| The smashing pumpkins formed in chicago, 1988. The band including : Billy Corgan - guitar/vocals, James Iha - guitar, D'arcy Wretzky - bass and Jimmy Chamberlin - drums. They produced the albums : gish, siamese dream, pisces iscariot, mellon collie and the infinate sadness, adore, machina/the machines of god and machina 2/friends and enamies of modern music. They split up december 2nd 2000 after losing D'arcy when machina had been recorded. This page is a farewell and a thank you to the smashing pumpkins for all they have done for us! |
