| SO MANY RULES! SO MANY RULES! Sure, I'm glad they're getting rid of the stupid nc-17 fics, but I liked the "chat based" fanfiction! and I liked the lists too! Then all those poor "Real people" authors! They're were alot of fics in those catogories and now all they're hard work is gone!! Isn't fan fiction spose to be what fans want to write about? WHO CARES if lists don't have a real plot, if they wanna write it, and we wanna read it, why not leave it alone! They're cracking down on grammer and puncuation too! " 1.Spell check all stories and poems. There is no excuse for this. If you do not have a word processor that has the spell checking feature, use a search engine such as Google.Com to find one. 2.Proof read all entries for grammar and other aspects of writing before submission. "Hot off the press" content are often riddled with errors. No one is perfect but it is the duty of the writer to do the best of his/her ability. 3.Respect the reviewers. Not all reviews will strictly praise the work. If someone rightfully criticize a portion of the writing, take it as a compliment that the reviewer had opted to spend his/her valuable time to help you improve on areas that otherwise would not get noticed. 4.Everyone here is an aspiring writer. Respect your fellow members and lend a helping a hand when they need it. Like many things, the path to becoming a better writer is often a two way street. 5.Use proper textual formatting. For example: using only capital letters in the story title, summary, or content is not only incorrect but also a disregard for the language itself." Unleash your imagine, free your soul...but only if it's on our terms? What about artistic lisences?! and how mean are they being about it "..also a disregard for the languague itself" when did FANfiction.net stop being a site for the fans?! It's job is not to monter, it's job is to serve as a home for ALL writters. Real Person Story writters have as much a write to post there stuff there as we do! What's next?! if your not a good writter, you can't post. The elmination of the fanfiction section!?! Freedom of speech is no longer aloud on our dear fanfiction.net and it's so much worse for it :( |
