• Students wishing to progress onto Nursing
• Anyone wishing to learn about the human body and how it works

• The Skin, Hair and Nail
• The Skeletal System
• The Muscular System
• The Nervous System
• The Reporductive System
• The Endocrine System and the Female Breast
• The Digestive System
• The Excretory System
• The Blood and Lymphativ Systems
• The Respiratory System
• The Olfactory System

THIS is A THEORY BASED COURSE CONSISTING OF PRESENTATION,

GROUP WORK, ENQUIRY BASED LEARNING AND DISCUSSIONS

(including lectures on topics)

Entry Requirements:

• No formal qualification is required but applicants will be requested to answer a questionnaire before enrolling onto this course.

Qualifications gained:

• Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology (VTCT) - NVQ Level 3

Course Assessment:

• Formative written or on-line assessments will be ongoing throughout the course. Summative (final) written assessment upon completion of the course, followed by an external exam at the end.

Career Opportunities/ progression:

• Successful students can progress onto Body massage and Reflexology. (once Body Massage has been achieved students can then progress onto Indian Head Massage and Aromatherapy and Sports Massage.
