The new site, The Anne Frank Guide has some photos I've never seen before. Some are very big, clear and crisp, with no "watermarks." How to find them: browse the subjects within the themes, look on the left hand side for the blue photo icons. Then right click on the photo and then "view image" (or the equivalent for your browser). Check out the quality of this one! Of course the site has information as well as photos.     The site includes two photos of Anne's uncles, Walter and Julius Höllander. (Anne's mother's brothers). They were able to escape from Germany to the USA. After getting jobs, their boss signed a letter recommending the Frank family be allowed into the country. But the affidavit arrived after the Nazis took over the Netherlands, where the Franks were living.
