The chestnut tree Anne looked out at in the community gardens has a disease (a fungus) but it still looks beautiful. The news is that there is a different sort of tree online now. The Anne Frank House Foundation has set up the site to foster communication between children around the world. They even got a celebrity to introduce it: English actress, Emma Thomson.     Personally, I question the wisdom of seeing the Anne Frank story as one for children! (Yes, I linked to the puppet show, but that was for people age 12 and up.)
