Marduck's Crossbow: This is a modified +1 Keen Elf-Bain Heavy Crossbow. The crossbow can shot up to 2 bolts to the same target or 1 to two different targets as a total attack action. The crossbow new bigger and more powerful ammonution than most heavy crossbows (they do 1d10+1 per bolt and cost 1 GP), even so the weapon is easier to reload than other weapons of the time, each bolt takes a partial action, and both of them take a round. Marduk's Crossbow is specially effective against elves, when attacking an elf the crossbow beacomes a weapon +3 and does 2d6 extra to the target. Its critical range is 19-20/x2.

Background: The Heavy Crossbow was built 150 years ago at the request of a powerful mercenarie working for the realm of Cephiro, the crossbow was his payment after a successfully killing the leader of an elven raid, during the forest wars, and he used it to wreck even more havoc against the elves of Riven Forest. Later during the war Marduck was given the title of Knight for heroism and his many triumphs over the mighty elves. After the war he was given a fortress and an small army to secure the area around the Riven Forest, so the elves could never organice against the people of Cephiro. After many years the Mardukson Family (they took the name after their founder) grew and prospered in the realm, some of his descendants had bring honor to the familie being admited in the Order of Dawn (female) or as Cephiro's Knights (male). The crossbow has passed over generations until it arrived to the hands of an inexpert John Marduck, Knight Protector in Training, protecting the daughther and niece of the Lord Gobernor of Cajistan during their return to their father's city when they were attacked. The drow Jumex del Valle, killed John Marduckson and took the crossbow as a throphy, and now John's family, specially one of his sister's want the crossbow back, and will fight to complete John's mission.
