Summer
Waterlilies reflect the sun,
dragonflies alight having fun,
darting then resting for a while,
insect aerobatics make me smile.
Gold fish gleaming between green fronds,
frogs hide in deep regions of the pond,
tadpoles wriggle every day,
wondrous are nature's ways.
There is beauty in sky and sea,
filled with the awesome sights I see,
and after dark stars luminous light,
like bright eyes smiling in the night.
May your days be happy and full of warm sunshine
and all your nights peaceful.
