SEVEN AGES
There is an old saying I remember reading once from Jeanette Winterson....
"Every journey conceals another journey within its lines; the
path not taken and the forgotten angle"
In it she describes every journey as being similar yet different.
Seven Ages is developed over this, with each of its long ambient
journeys built using a same note, which would then be developed over
a long piece, which would then be split into seven different songs.
Seven different ages of the same song.
Formed and developed by Andy N, his journeys represent a journey into
the boundaries of Brian Eno and Harold Budd to create a dark wash of
ambient silence but contain enough mystery about them to take the
reader further and further into the mystery of what is the beginning
and what is the end.
