Tyler Honeyford was on the Vacation Bible School Team to Hainamosa from St. Pauls Presbytarian Church in Ontario, Canada fron January 1, - 10, 2007. These were his thoughts:

This was not my first mission trip, but it was a total change from the ones I'm used to.
I was not used to the language barrier being so in the way, but I still felt there was
a connection between us and the kids.
If I can say anything about the program and the kids it's complete and utter chaos. If they want something, even if it's not their's or even knowing who it belongs to they'll take it and yet they'll help you pick up something if you drop it, or give you a hand to carry something. They are the most caring and craziest people I've ever met.
Never have I seen such happiness to have even the smallest gift. If I can say anything that would sum up this trip it would be the people are everything you heard they were and completly different at the same time.
You cannot prepare for them, or expect what will happen while you're there, you can only be in complete and utter reliance on your leaders and God.
