Effects of oral treatment with either bupropion HCl in water or bupropion formulated in a controlled release matrix on spontaneous locomotor activity of mice in an open field.  Values represent photocell beam interruptions that are accumulated over successive 2 minute intervals by an IBM personal computer as described in methods.  A single mouse was placed in each cage for testing and means ± S.E.M. are given for the number of mice in parenthesis at the base of the figure.
