Dear Mr. Graham,
Thank you for your dilligence in trying to call me. I did not receive your call because I was at my bank after receiving the telex that indicated that money had been transfered to me. My bank has not received anything. Do you suppose that something has gone wrong? Should the bank in Ivory Coast be contacted? I hope that things are well in Ivory Coast because there has been a lot of political turmoil there lately.
Also I think that I should avoid any more business at Western Union. I undertook to send you the $100 as a sign of my own sincerity and at a great risk to my own future in the business world but I think that I may have attracted the attention of certain people there since they took a great deal of time sending the money to you and they were talking quietly amongst themselves the whole time I was there. I hope that all will work out well as I can't entangle myself with Western Union anymore.
Let me know what you think the best course of action is at this point. You are the lawyer so you know best.
sincerely,
