"Penny Mahoney vs. Kwaku Martins" The scammer who would not give up.
I decided to play Penny as an empty-headed party girl from Dublin and push really hard for one of the scammers to come to Dublin or London and possibly step in front of a webcam. They dropped Penny for nearly a month and then decided to write back but their mail account must have been shut down because Penny's reply was undeliverable then they wrote back from a new mail address. A classic example of the lads forgetting where they are in the scam, who they are pretending to be, and what documents they have sent out
After making relentless demands, I managed to score a couple pictures of the lad making the 'loser' sign plus one showing him working out lifting homemade concrete weights. I had decided several times to drop this lad because he was not cooperating and getting somewhat boring but every time he came through with new tangent to make things interesting again. After a four month break starting in March I found this lad's mail addy and decided to have another go. He wrote back on 26 July 2004 and kept the bait going past its one anniversary.
Update: This Scambait celebrates its second anniversary on 22 September 2005!
