Dear Mr. Ibrahim,

      Thank you for the kind wishes for my Auntie. She is still quite ill and does not wish for me to leave her but I have already made the commitment to you so I will be in Accra on 2 May as planned. I hope that we can conclude business rather quickly because I would like to come back to the USA to visit her again before returning to Ireland for my final preparations at Emerald Isle Jewelers.

      Did I understand you correctly that you want to have your Director General pick me up at the airport instead of the Douglas Morgan representative? I will follow whatever you recommend. I must say that everyone in Ghana has been very friendly by offering to help make this business easier and I thank you. Starting a new business is difficult and I have been beset by many problems in Dublin. In Ireland it is rare for people to go out of their way to help someone else so I am pleased that you all have been such good people.
