Dear Barrister Emmanuel,

I received your mail several days ago and I have been thinking it over quite intently. I am wondering if you are contacting the right person. My cousin, Roman went to Africa some years ago but I don't think he ever made it as far as Nigeria. He was in Tripoli and Alexandria and I don't remember if he ever worked for Mekon Associates. I was never especially close to my cousin and I have not heard from him since 1999. Was your client named Roman? Please write back soon and confirm if this account does indeed belong to Roman Conquest.
