Dear Barrister Emmanuel,

      I trust that you had a blessed Christmas Holiday and that all is well with you. I myself have no family and would have been all alone had it not been for the kindness of my neighbours who took me in for the day.

      I really think that the best and fastest way for me to raise the money for our plan to get the fund would be for you to send me the death certificate so I can get the insurance company to re-open the claim. It would be zero-risk to you. All you would need to do is to scan a copy of it and send it to me as an email attachment and I will take care of the rest. I have very little other money and I am counting on the insurance money to make this all work out. I don't want to trouble you with a lot of complaining about money but had to use all of next month's pension to pay for the rent and to heat my house during this cold winter month. If I only eat every other day I will be able to survive until February when the next cheque comes in. Please try to get the death certificate to me soon and we can move on this business before our time runs out. This fund is my only hope in this world so I am very serious about it.
