Rob: With water spray I can see thin structures. They are fine like gossamer. The spray thickens and becomes mist. The tunnels are clearer, the mist becomes fog.

Barry: The fogs colour is strange. It is phosphorescent with rainbow flashes.

Rob: I hear a voice and feel myself drawn into the fog and expanding. I feel moisture on my skin. There is silence now, and peace.

Barry: Within the fog I can see a translucent woman. She is partly hidden by the fog. She holds hands with another figure. She reaches out and pulls me in. The fog is damper than before. The silence is almost deafening.

Rob: I see a strange structure like the curve of a wall, made of small odd shaped panes of glass. Beyond it the fog expands and churns as if stretching to infinity.

Barry: To me the fog is like strands woven of a fabric like water. The woman is paring the fabric of the fog and is spinning from the fabric of her body. It forms into a tunnel.

Rob: The churning mist is shot through with thin threads of light. I would like to go down, but will wait. I feel the threads go behind and past me.

Barry: The fog opens out, a series of boxes which fold out of each other. I can see you now. The light threads are pulsating towards or away from you.

Rob: I step through the swirling fog.

Barry: Me too.

Rob: I feel drawn along at speed.

Barry: I feel infinite space around us as we travel along the threads.

Rob: I hear whispering, snatches of voices around us.

I am on a hill, below me there are thick trees and below them a lake from which a mist rises. The threads continue from me to the lake then fade away. I think that this is the lake from which Arthur received Excalibur. I feel there is a symbolic meaning for the sword being passed from the lake.

Barry: I am standing in fog. I can see a figure. He stands on the ocean bed. In front of him is a statue of a woman holding a horn and a large cup. Beyond him is a temple. Around him are the remains of a large city of many buildings. There are many temples in various states of disrepair. Only the square on which he stands is in good repair. He wears light blue.

Rob: I also see quite a bit of what you have described. All the energy of the city was focussed on him and swirls around him. He is the centre. I see him turning, spinning around till he is a blur. Then something is thrown off and rolls away from him. It is a small boy rolled in a ball. He wears a short tunic, his arms and legs are bare. He has long untidy dark hair. On his left wrist is a copper bangle. He regards me, his eyes are black and deep and he sees much. The spinning whirlpool of power moves and gradually he becomes its centre. I can see this recede as I am drawn back into the fog.

Barry: The circling power goes in a clockwise motion round the city, then the central core is protected. It is slowing its destructive power. The buildings are thrown and ground dawn by the force of the water.

Rob: The spinning centre has changed into a pale green/yellow moon surrounded by thin cloud.

Barry: I can see that the moon is reflected in the lake when the sword was given.

Rob: There are three spirits in the lake. We would see them as women. There are three because it is such a large body of water. The sword was not theirs to give but they were instructed to give it. They could be the women on the three of cups. I am receiving impressions of things receding across the lake. I can also see longboats being pushed forth and set on fire, and the body of a king on a longboat floating away.

Barry: The king has a sword in his hand. The flaming boat is driven by unseen hands towards a island surrounded in mist at the lakes centre.

Rob: There are other channels alongside water with subtler energies.

..The legend of witches not crossing running water..

I see the river that bounds Hades. Our spirits passing across. I begin to think that we are being invited to cross another barrier to another level.

Barry: The sword figure seems important

Rob: Arthur is worth looking at I feel. I can just see the waterfall of the temple. I have returned.

Barry: Flute music tells us to return.

Rob: I drink water.

Barry: It is icy cold.
