Barry: The air is slightly misty. There is spray coming from the waterfall, which seems larger than last time, quite a torrent.

At each side of us stand large poles topped with bells. They add to the noise of the waterfall.

Rob: The temple air is fresh and charged.

Barry: It is very cold.

Rob: Cold water is the best conductor of certain energies. That is why the dragon lines follow underground streams.

Barry: We don our robes. The fabric has a strange texture and moulds itself to us. We take our staffs and as we do so, the snakes coil round our hands. They too seem cold and charged. We go to the altar.

Rob: I take a drink with the cup, it is bitterly cold, I can feel it go down in my body.

Barry: On the altar rests a thin silver dagger with a white mother of pearl handle. The handle has the moon symbol, (crescent water tattwa) on the top.

The figure, the elemental, can be seen in the waterfall. He appears large and very powerful today. His eyes are like green jewels.

Rob: He beckons for us to take the dagger and enter the pool. We do so.

Barry: The water in the pool is as cold as the spring water. It appears to be rotating down towards where the waterfall meets the surface. We begin to spin with the water and are sucked beneath the surface.

Rob: There's a lesson here, abut being sucked in and helpless by going too close to something.

Barry: Moran reaches his hands for us.

Rob: We are pulled onto a small silver dais. It is not a room, but is filled with geometric objects, cones, spheres. I can't make it out.

Barry: They appear almost crystalline.

Rob: They are various colours, I see purples, oranges, blues and greens.

Barry: He says that we must be careful in this temple. It is difficult to tread paths, unlike in the Earth temple. Guardians will be very important here.

Rob: The way to remain safe is to have a very correct approach. We should re-awaken the Wiccan side of our lives. The time is right, and we should become aware of the influence of the moon on the tides.

Barry: I feel there will be three or four lessons to learn, based on the different phases of the moon.

Rob: We need to be more aware of cycles generally.

Barry: The dark moon will be difficult. It is deep within the temple, and we should hunt for it.

Rob: Self-delusion is one of the traps awaiting us, and also the Shadow.

Barry: We must be focused; water has the ability to wash away the lessons. We will succeed if our intentions are strong. The immenseness of water seems difficult to handle.

Rob: There is a more positive aspect though. One possible lesson lies with learning to express our emotions. Properly expressed they have influence. Charisma is water based. Of course it has potential dangers, but we don't want to be too negative. Charged water is very positive. Water can be used to cleanse either ritually or generally.

Barry: I can see three tunnels behind the elemental.

The first is soft clear spring water, issuing direct from a rock. The first phase, welling up from Earth bringing much of the information we have gleaned, but not given form to. It is for us to crystallise this knowledge.

The second is the Cave of the Sea. We should not approach this till we have learned the lessons and paths of the initial stage.

The third is yet dark.

Rob: It is time to return I think.

Barry: The snake staffs pull, and Moran lifts us gently back to the pool. We get on the wall and back onto the beach. We replace the moon dagger.

Rob: A small crescent is marked on my forehead by the tip of the dagger. It is gold and outlined in silver. We should read Bardon about the use of water on an everyday basis with magical intent.

We climb out of the pool and stand. The atmosphere is very bright with reflection, we need to wash our eyes to see more clearly.

We put down our staffs and remove the robes.
