Rob: There is an uplifting atmosphere, it smells of flowers. A slab of pure white marble in the centre of the temple forms an altar. On this is a large blue glass bowl. It is deep and shows the sky, like a slice of sky. The view widens and I can see the planet as if from space.

I see clouds swirling, moving in turmoil, and yet ordered. I can see chimneys belching out yellow sulphurous smoke.

I find myself more fully in the temple. The sound of a flute grows louder. Small birds appear perched on the windows.

Barry: I hear a voice blending in and out of the flute. It sounds almost like the air, sometimes blowing sometimes musical. We have yet to learn what it is to be apart from others. The air path is lonely.

We are walking on a sandy path on a flat grassy plain. Rough stones are to either side of us. We have shaven heads and carry staffs of black wood. We are followed at a distance by a crowd, talking in quiet voices. Before us is a vast ruined temple, stretching further than the eye can see.

Before us is a row of stone columns. Should we reach up?

Rob: Yes.

Barry: They are topped on the left by discs of the sun and moon. To the right are faces carved looking both ways. The crowd do not enter the temple. Ahead I can hear the flute.

Rob: I can see the flute player in the distance, he is always keeping his distance.

Silence on one of the paths.

Barry: The temple floor is heavily worn. Above is a walkway leading from pillar to pillar. The priests move themselves away from the clouds having communicated the words of the Gods.

The path leads to a vast pyramid. I see a door way, and a corridor leading upwards.

Rob: We are joined by two young women with long dark hair tied several times at the back. They wear long white robes, each carries a small sword at the waist. Each wears winged sandals.

Barry: We reach a door carved with the likeness of Thoth.

Rob: The women bar the door with drawn swords and demand by what right do we seek entry. I explain that we have no right, but seek knowledge. Since we have been brought here we would like to enter.

Barry: The women open the door and air is sucked in. We are in a vast room lined with books as high as we can see. The flute player stands in the middle of the room. He asks in a voice we can scarcely hear Which book would you choose? Around us are the books of the history of man, and of the Gods. He draws forth from his robes shiny rings of silver. We would do well to understand what it is we seek. The rings spin making a hypnotic noise. I look into the spinning ring.

Rob: One sees clearly through pure air, through thick smoke on sees nothing. Hearts and minds must be pure. Mine is the realm of communication. To communicate with other realms you must learn their language. Seek to hone your senses beyond the physical world. Use your psychic centres.

You dont need this temple to learn these things. You have books and knowledge, make use of them. Go now and return when you can acknowledge some effort. You cannot continue unless you clear your heart and minds. You cannot continue without effort to expand your senses. We cannot be more clear.

Barry: In the darkness my body is being cast aside, dismembered. I cannot feel or see.

Rob: Fiat lux.

Barry: The Gods communicated to the ancients in windy caves. Breath and its use is a way of drawing on the knowledge within and without.

It is light again and I am back in the Air temple.

Rob: Me too.
