BOMB:

SHOWN: 30TH NOVEMBER 1982
BBC 2 Tuesday 9 PM 35 minutes
WRITERS: Rik Mayall, Lise Meyer & Ben Elton
DIRECTOR: Paul Jackson

Mike and Rick are fighting over bathroom time, Neil is consoling the tea
kettle, and Vyvyan just wants breakfast. No wonder the lads don't notice the
atom bomb in the kitchen. When they do notice, they decide the best thing to do
is watch TV. But they don't have a TV license....and the TV detector man has
shown up!
"A potentially explosive situation erupts when a bomb falls on the house
.... But worse ! The TV licence man calls." The lads find an atomic bomb
and try to auction it to the highest seller. This involves Neil painting himself
white to deflect a nuclear blast, the Dicky and Dino show, and Dexys' Midnight
Runners singing "Jackie Wilson said" in the toilet. Footage of a plane
dropping the bomb precedes the credits.
