| Taking a break from touring - Source - Dotmusic The current king of pop, Robbie Williams, has decided to take an extended break from touring and will not be performing live for the forseeable future. During the last date of his hugely successul UK stadium tour, Robbie told the sell-out Hampden Park audience that they'd witnessed his last live show for a 'long, long time' According to the Sun, Robbie told his fans: 'That's it - I've had enough. I won't be touring for a long, long time.' In typical Robbie mood, he then left the stage saying: 'I'm Robbie Williams, please don't forget me.' Robbie made his announcement following his extensive stint of promotion in the US and a Summer of playing to packed crowds in this country including back-to-back nights at Cardiff's Millennium stadium and the 65, 000 capacity Milton Keyes Bowl. Robbie also paid homage to the massive part played by his Scottish fans in helping kick-start his solo career after his debut show in Glasgow. 'Thanks to your word of mouth you told everyone how great the show was,' Robbie said. 'That's why I'm able to stand here now, in front of so many of you. I'm overwhelmed with emotion. It's all down to you, Scotland.' Oh that jus sux..... looks like the 'Gary Barlow rules' and 'Robbie im pregnant!' banners are going to have to be put on hold....! |

| Let Dad Entertain You...Source - DotMusic Robbie Williams dad has decided to give his son a run for his money by realeasing a Christmas single...A tabloid said that he has recorded the ballad 'Alone at Christmas' and is currently said to be looking for a record label to release it on by Christmas. Rob's Dad told the paper: 'It's an old fashioned crooner's song - like something Perry Como or Dean Martin might have done. Rob hasn't heard it yet because he's on tour but I know he'll love it.' |
