Let Me...

Drown- I’m giving up, I’m lying down.
I’ve lived my life, now let me drown.
I fill my lungs with the water wet,
And think my thoughts I’ll soon forget.
My mind will cloud my lungs will scream.
There’s no awaking from the coming dream.
Perpetual sleep is where I’ll stay,
The bottom of lake is where I’ll lay.
My life has tired me, I’m lying down.
I’ve lived my life now let me drown.

Burn- My life has taken a wicked turn.
I’ve lived my life, now let me burn.
My skin will flare from searing heat.
This is the death I cannot cheat.
My blood will boil, my skin will peel,
Soon my nerves I will not feel.
My flesh will melt and fall away.
A heap of bones is what will lay.
All the sharper will I make the turn.
I’ve lived my life, now let me burn.

Bleed- My life was ruined by hasty greed.
I’ve lived my life now let me bleed.
My blood will surge down the blade,
Onto the deathbed I’ve carefully made.
Let my life’s blood run so cold.
My life is over, it is so old.
My veins and arteries will tear away.
Around the sword, they’ll bleed away.
No longer will I be plagued by my greed.
I’ve lived my life, now let me bleed.

Die- All my life was one big lie.
I’ve lived my life, now let me die.
I take my life into my hands,
And drop through the glass, the remaining sands.
My eyes go dull, the fire gone.
Death has conquered, fate has won.
Never again will I see day,
My mind is slipping, I’m drifting away.
Now I don’t have to live the lie.
I’ve lived my life, please let me die.
