My name is David Rhodes, to everyone I know, I am Dave.
My birth date was on July 30th, 1982 at 1:24 am EST. At Northwest Medical Center in Oil City, PA. Therefore making me 23.
I am now 5'10", and I weigh around 171 lbs (I tend to fluxuate between that and 160).
I live in Owings Mills, Maryland and work at "the largest family owned business in the United States: Reeds Jewelers".
I have many hobbies. Amongst these, are writing poetry, listening to ALL kinds of music, and trying to relax from everyday stress.
I'm good in science (especially Biology and Physics), and english. Unfortunately, I'm terrible in math. I know lots of pointless stupid facts. Questions like they ask on Who Wants to be a Millinoaire, and why it takes 2 times of getting poison-ivy to actually start itching from it.
I have 2 cats, one black one, and one tiger-tabby. I drive a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire. And enjoy being out and about listening to my music which includes (but is not limited to) Spineshank, Godsmack, Adema, Lords of Acid, Incubus, Luce, Korn, Disturbed, Staind, etc.
I've moved to several different locals in the past 5 years. I am now settled in Franklin, Pa.
I graduated from Rocky Grove Jr. Sr. High School, AKA "The House of Pain" *extreme sarcasm*. Home of the ever impressive ORIOLES!!... *cricket chirps* Our basket ball team is less than good, the wrestling team is less than perfect, but the food is less than disgusting, despite the hair found therein and temperature of the meals. But all of that is pointless now. I have attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania Venango Campus majoring in psychology, while I worked full time at Sheetz conveinience store.
Here are some things that you should know about me. First, I am strongly against the military for personal reasons of course.
I am a Deist. However, I feel that fate is becoming more apparent in the world today, rather than simply devine intervention.
I am against abortion.
I am against getting drunk.. too often.
Poetry is my basic form of expression. Although I don't speak in stanza, I wish I could. ;o) I have a 2 poetry books and I'm up around 220 poems. Most of which are depressing or dark, but that is my release for my negative feelings. Lately, I've been straying away from depression and sometimes emotion all together and just write poems about things in life. I love poetry, and I don't think anyone could understand that like I do.

Now, you may have come to my page because you saw my poetry on Poetry.com, or you just "happened" to stumble onto my page... in which case, you are WAY too bored.
If you are wondering what kind of music I like to listen to, I'm mostly into hardcore stuff, but I like just about anything, even a little country. I really like Stabbing Westward, and Gravity Kills. I've grown to like Limp Bizkit and Orgy, amongst others. Some of my favorite movies include, The Matrix, Armageddon, and Monty Python and the Quest for The Holy Grail.
