invisible
people
Appearing
for seconds
at a time
out the corner of
and out the middle of
my eyes.
They're harmless
and dead.
They seek refuge
inside of the air.
what reality
makes them visible
for seconds long enough
that i know they are there.
The children
often hide in the cupboard
and under the stairs.
