When the twists start misbehaving (usually around 2 weeks), I sometimes put them in bantu knots / chinese bumps (i call them) when those get old, I untwist them for another look.
By the way, I can't stand this picture, see how I've tried to cover my face!

On most weekends I wear this head wrap which is really a $1.99, long piece of cloth from the fabric store!
It took lots of practice to get it to stay

After a week, I undid my little 2-strand twists. I actually got out my purple plastic pick and did a little afro picking. Just at the roots

OK. this right here is me popping into the bathroom at work with the digital camera to take photos of my hair by myself. not bad huh?!
