Growing marijuana indoors is becoming a fast american pastime. The reasons are varied. With the increased intrest and experimentation in house plant cultivation, it was inevitable that people would apply thier knowledge of plant care to growing marijuana. Many of those who occasionally for those who like to light up a joint may find it difficult to locate a source or are hesitant to deal with a perhaps unsavory element in society in procuring thier grass. There is, of course, the criminal apsect of buying or selling grass; Growing marijuana is just as illegal as buying, selling, or smoking it, but growing it, is something you can do in the privacy of your own home without having to deal someone you don't know or trust. The best reason for growing it is the excitment of watching those little seedlings out of your stash sprout come some of the most lovely and lush of all your house plants.

Even if you havent had any perior expierence growing plants in your home, you could have a succesful crop of marijuana by the following the simple directions in this pamphlet.If you had problems in the past with cultuvation, you will find the solutions in the following chaptes. Growing a marijuana plant takes four basic steps...

1. Get the seeds, if you don't already have them, you can ask your friends for seeds form thier own stash they have been collecting seeds themselves and are willing to donate a few seeds of thier own for an exchage of the finished product.

2. Germinate the seeds.You can simply drop a seed into moist soil, but be germanting the seedd first though so you can indeed count on the seed producing a plant. To germaninate the seeds, take a group and place between 6 moist paper towels, or in the pores of a moist sponge. eave the paper towels or sponge moist, not soaking wet. Some seeds will germaniate in 24 hours while others may take several days or even a week.

3. Plant the sprouts. As soon as a seed cracks open and begins to sprout, place it on moist soil and sprinkle moist soil over the top.

4. Supply the plants with light. Flourescent lights are the best, Hang the lights within two inches of the soil after after the plant appears above the ground, continiue to keep the lights with two inches of the plant. Its as easy as that. If you follow these four steps you will grow a marijuana plant. To ensure prime quality and the highest yield in the shorest time period, however, a few details are necessary.

Your prime concern, after choosing high quailty seeds, is the soil. Use the best soil you can get, Scrimping on the soil doesnt pay off in the long run. If you use unsterilized soil you will almost certainly get parasites in it, probaly to late after you transplant your marijuana. You can find excellent soil at your local plant store or nusery, K-mart, Walmart, or even grocery stores. The soil you use should have these properties to have best possible results:

1. It should drain well. That is, it should have some sand in it and some sponge rocks or pearlite.
2. The ph should be in between 6.5 and 7.5 since marijuana does not do well in acidic soil. High acidity in soil encourges the plant to be predominantly male, and an undesirble trait.
3. The soil should also contain humus for retaining moisture and nutrients.
