Welcome to Abandonwaresuk

What is Abandonware

Abandonware is software that is no longer supported by or not being sold by copyright holders/game publishers.  Don't you miss the old times when you played old games like Elite or maybe Doom?  Well we did, so we opened this site with some good old MS-DOS games so you can find your favourite game.  Check out our download section and  hopefully you will find what you seek.

If you have any suggestion please email me.

Did you Know....Pong

Based on Nolan Bushnell's specifications, the prototype Pong was designed by newly-employed Atari engineer Al Alcom, and constructed entirely from solid-state circuitry: no microchips, to keep costs a low as possible. Bushnell demonstrated the machine to executives at pinball giant Bally, hoping they would pay him to manufacture it themselves but the suits weren't interested, so the Atari chief decided to set up his own in-house production line.
