A Pair of Angels

On December 7, 1987, at 8:02AM EST, Tampa General Hospital became the scene of the birth of one of today's biggest popstars-Aaron Charlea Carter followed his fraternal twin sister Angel into the world. As the last of the two to be born, Aaron became Jane and Bob Carter's youngest child, Nick's only brother and Angel's permanent tag-along companion and soul mate. Little Aaron also thrilled his other sisters, Bobbie("BJ") and Leslie.

Named for his paternal grandfather, Aaron would soon show his family(and the world) that talent was a part of the Carter gene pool, along with a tendency for twins. (Both sides of the family had twins in the lineages prior to Angel and Aaron's appearence.)

Little Aaron was always rambunctious. Friends and family members always talk about him using terms like "energetic" and "confident", and he idolized his look-alike older brother Nickolas Gene Carter, who loved singing around the house.

As Nick started to sing professionally in a wannabe-famous boy band called the Backstreet Boys, it was a case of monkey see monkey do for Aaron, who urged his mom to help his learn how to sing and be musical like Nick. Jane had helped place Nick in his band-a band no one dreamed whould become one of the biggest-selling pop acts in history-so her attention turned to little Aaron's dreams. How could she say no to her little angel...who even at that early age knew how to turn on the charm?
