Right now, I'm on my Rock,Rap, and Retro Tour. I acually didn't name it. My mom did. For this tour, we are putting out all different types of music. I like doing remakes. I love doing Journey and all of that good stuff. It's just a whole bunch of everything. This tour's a little different than my "Winter Party" tour. It's a lot of high energy and a lot of interaction with the audience. The stage is set up very different. For the last show, we had lots of conveyer belts, slides and poles all over the place. This one has a lot of secret trap stuff in it. And for the encore, something happens that no one is expecting.
I'm also recording for my next album, whcih drops August 20. The songs are really cool. They've got a rock/R&B flavor to them. I just recorded a song for the album called "Do You Remember". It was originally at a slower tempo than I'm doing it. We're working on a lot of songs. We're testing them out. We have almost 10 songs for the album.
One thing that kind of bugs me about being in the studio is that I always like to be on the go, and when I am in the studio, the producers are just working, and I sit there waiting. That really irritates me. I hate going slow. I like to go there and get stuff done. Get in, get out and do what you gotta do.
I have some other big news-I just got cast for the Peter Pan movie. Not a lot of people know about that yet. I'm really excited. It's a big role- it's going to be bigger than Harry Potter. When I was little, I used to watch it all the time. I actually played him in a play. It's just going to be pure acting. I'm not even going to involve my music too much. We haven't started filming yet. It's kind of weird because we had to decide on a tour or the movie. We decided to do the tour first, then the film.
