HAPPY EASTER
They hung my Christ upon the cruel cross,
His life He gave for me.
There never was a darker day-
Then when He hung upon that tree.
How could His Father have been so cruel,
To forsake Him on that day.
But in God's Perfect Plan, with His life,
Christ chose our penalty to pay.
They called him the King of the Jews,
A crown of thorns they placed on His brow.
Today He's King of Kings
Sitting at the right hand of God even now.
He died upon the cross
To save each one of us from sin.
He bore our sins on Calvary
That we might enter in.
The tomb could not hold him,
When the stone was rolled away,
They found he had arisen.
Oh, glorious, happy day!
When from the grave He rose,
The chains of death He broke.
He had the keys to hell
And freed us from that yoke.
He roamed the earth for forty days
Telling of our Heavenly Home.
He ascended into Heaven
And today He's on the throne.
Give your heart and your life to Jesus now,
Believing on His Holy Name.
At death you'll go to be with Him
And at His side, forever, you'll reign.
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world,
That He gave His only begotten Son,
That whosoever believeth in HIm
Should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Have you believed on His only begotten Son
and asked Him to save you from your sins
so that you can experience the true meaning
of Easter in your heart!
