GIFT TO MY GRANDAUGHTER,

CARRIE

What a precious gift from God,
When our Carrie came to town.
It was as if God had truely sent
One of His special angels down.

She smiled the day she was born,
always happy, quick and bright.
She very seldom wore a frown,
She is a shining ray of light.

She has a way with everyone,
They can not help but love her.
She gives thanks for everything
To the great Lord above her.

She is a witness for the Lord
In everything she says and does.
She has been known to talk of God
And let all know of His Love.

She is now entering a new phase in life,
Places and things she has never known.
We pray life will treat her gently
As on these unknown paths she roams.

She has found a love with Adam
which is second only to God.
Congratulations to both of them
As this road together they trod.
