Zendalonii’s Tortilla Soup
1 c. diced chicken
2 cans chicken broth
1 can rotel tomatoes
1 c diced potatoes
garlic salt, powder or
minced to taste
a dash of cilantro to
taste
salt to taste
Optional: a dash or two
(or three) of chili powder or dried chili flakes depending
on how spicy you want it.
Corn tortillas or plain
taco chips
Cook all together until
tomatoes and potatoes soft.
Cut tortillas into thin
strips and deep fry until crunchy
and toss healthy portion
on top (sort of like croutons)
or if you are real lazy
crumble up taco chips into
smaller pieces and put on top. Add grated cheese, sour cream etc if you like.
