PROVERBS

I love proverbs from all cultures.  They mean a lot. One thing I don't understand is why should we always repeat our ancestor's sayings.  If you are good enough you can make your own proverb, I believe.  You don't need to die to have a proverb of your own.  So please email me your favorite proverbs from any culture you belong to.  Also if you have your own sayings, which are good enough to become proverbs one day, share them.
