| INTRODUCTION | |||||||||||||||||||||
| I know what you are thinking. "James Baldwin and Walt Whitman? These dudes couldn't be more different from each other than apples and oranges!!" While I will concede that these two famous authors are, indeed, very different, my purpose in this webquest is to have you, the student, discover the similar themes in their writings that will be presented to you. This WebQuest will culminate in an essay describing the different (or similar) methods these authors use to convey their themes. *This is practice for your Regents Exams, folks!!* I promise it will be interesting and you may even enjoy yourself! Are you ready? Then please click on TASK 1 to begin your journey. (Don't forget to sign in to the guestbook before you begin!!) |
