TASK THREE: LADY MACBETH |
Part 1: What does Lady Macbeth look like? |
Well, as we have seen with Macbeth, there can be many answers to that question. In the end, it will be up to your group to decide how you want Lady Macbeth to look. But here are some examples: |
OK, so if we're gonna go Medieval... |

This is pretty cool. Medieval, in a kinda modern way (check out the shapes on her sleeve). |
Yikes! Totally over-the-top Elizabethan. |
What you would wear to a medieval rave. |

Hey! Isn't this the chick that gave Snow White the poisoned apple?? Wait, it's Lady Macbeth? Hmmm...maybe they're, like, the same person....? |
Wow! Check out the red and gold! |
Well, all that's cool....but let's see something different! |

Part 2: Your "Lady Macbeth" |
In this part of your proposal, you and your group will come up with a character sketch of Lady Macbeth. As with these examples, you can mix styles, ancient with modern. I encourage you to use your imaginations! What does your Lady Macbeth look like and what does she wear in the scene you picked out? You must also include descriptions of minor female characters that may be in your act - like Lady Macduff, for example. |
