To Whom it May Concern (that means YOU!):
As you all may have heard, Big Brother Publishing Company has just issued its proposal for a new Shakespeare graphic novel series. Since they plan to publish the tragedies first, it is suitable that they are starting with Macbeth. I have been in a tizzy since I heard this news because I believe this will be the perfect opportunity to show off the talents of my graphic arts company, "Drawn & Quartered."
Your group will have to write a proposal for Big Brother. You all will have to work together to set up the best graphic novel possible. In your proposal, you will include: |

EDITING: will you edit whole scenes or parts of scenes? If so, which scenes and why? |

|
GRAPHIC NOVELS: what goes into making a graphic novel? (you all haven't worked in a while; I'm sure you need a refresher course.) |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
CHARACTERS: how will you portray Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, and the Witches? How about minor characters such as Banquo and Duncan? |

|
|
|
|
SETTINGS, COLORS, COSTUMES: these are all extremely important aspects of your graphic novel. |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Your group has two weeks to write up your proposal and hand it in to me. There are several requirements for working on this project: |

You all must work as a group - that means you must set up a time to "meet" on the computer. |
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
All group members must sign the guestbook prior to beginning this webquest. |

|

All group members must use Instant Messages to communicate with each other while completing this webquest. I will require printouts of these conversations. |
