In the era of fighting, there lived a skilled swordsman named Jubei Yagyu. The defends the world against other swordsman who tries to rule it. Now that he had died, his one and only student must find his recarnation. After a 300 years of wandering, his student finally found his recarnation.. Except that she is a young plump girl. He has a hard time getting Jubei to put on the "lovely eyepatch" that was given by his master. But someone other then Jubei now knows the return of the "eyepatch".

I wasn't very fond of the animation, but it wasn't that bad. Most of the scenes are done in pencil drawing to look funny. Overall, the animation was a little below average since I really don't like pencil drawings.

The music was really nothing special. None of the themes were really catchy.

Jubei Chan was not the least my favorite.Serious plot, but none of the characters are atleast serious. You can find the enemies having a conversation with each other before trying to kill each other..
