The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon (also called the Pine Creek Gorge) is located in Tioga County. It is surrounded by 165,000 acres of Tioga State Forest and seven lakes.

Ruins of the Kinzua Bridge near Mt. Jewett, PA after a F1 tornado hit it on July 21, 2003. It took out 11 of the 20 support towers from the 2,053-foot span that had stood 301 feet high. The 121-year old railroad viaduct was once the tallest and largest in the world and was called "The Eighth Wonder of the World."
