Present position

At present, I have an indefinite contract from the Research Institute located at the Vall d'Hebron Hospitals in Barcelona, Spain, thanks to the obtention of a FIS Contract. These contracts, developed by the Spanish Sanity Ministry in 1998, aimed to incorporate young quality researchers to research groups belonging to the National Health System. These helps, called "Ayudas para contratos de Investigadores en el Sistema Nacional de Salud", have a duration of 6 years, with an intermediate evaluation. At the end of the 6 years period, the corresponding Autonomous Community assumes the responsability of the contract, through an specific agreement. I obtained the contract in the 1999 call, but I was not able to incorporate at job until July 2001. Since 2007 I am definitively stabilized.

I am carrying my research work in the Experimental Cardiology Lab, located in the Research Institute. The lab is integrated in the Cardiology Service of the Vall d'Hebron Hospitals.
