It's a 1965, with a rebuilt 302. It had a 200 cu.in. 6 cylinder in it when it left the factory; was modified to hold a 289 at some point in its transcontinental history---it was made in Michigan, sold in Boston. That much I know from the ID tag in the door. Then, according to the guy I bought it from, it somehow made it to Arizona, where the 289 was dropped in, and then on to California where the guy I bought it from put the 302 in last year.

 

And now it's mine. Well, ours. Diana (shown below with her boyfriend Travis) thinks she has a claim on it, and Allison (in the doorway, above :) thinks there may be a piece of it with her name on it. Not saying they don't, but...well, so far I have the only set of keys.
