What's a Duraspark ignition?
Duraspark is a Ford Motor Company brand of electronic ignition. It consists
of a Duraspark distributor and an electronic control module that mounts to the
inner fender apron. The Motorcraft control module that Ford supplies can be
replaced by third party modules such as the MSD brand.
