NOS is an acronym for New, Old Stock. It means parts that were manufactured under license to Ford as official Mustang replacement parts.
Remanufactured parts are old parts which have been refurbished to original specifications.
Reproduction parts, often referred to as "repros" (or, erroneously, "repos" which is a shortening of repossessed) are parts that are no longer made by or for Ford and are now being manufactured by independent producers.
NOS parts will remain available as long as current stock lasts; they are usually more expensive than reproduction parts, but they also tend to fit, work, and look better.
