Radio Jackie North
Sunday 16th Sept 1979
Airchecks. In this set, Rick Dane the main man behind Radio Jackie North wonders whether this will be their final broadcast due to problems getting on the air two days per week. Also includes an advert for the Radio Jackie North Rock Night at Annabells. Recorded in Liverpool from 1395kHz.

Radio Jackie North
Sunday 19th Sept 1982
Airchecks. A transmission on 1017kHz which includes the end of a pre-taped Steve West show on which he announced only 1395kHz / 217m. Rick Dane then comes on with a live show and announces both 217m and 287m. Possibly due to aerial positioning, the 287m signal always seemed to travel better to the North than 217m. Recorded in Blackpool.
Central Radio Rick Dane Tribute
Audio tribute from Liverpool's Central Radio,
Clips from Rick's last radio show for Central Radio on August Bank Holiday Weekend 2002.
Rick Dane Audio Tribute Compilation
A tribute to Eric Haydock (Rick Dane) from Jim Lowe.
A fitting tribute to a radio DJ who was sailing the pirate airwaves for over 30 years. A compilation of Radio Jackie North, Radio Free Liverpool and Central Radio airchecks featuring the man himself.

Our thanks to Gary Hogg of Fylde West, Lancashire,
Jim Lowe and to Central Radio in Liverpool for the use of Audio Clips
