Q: I just found a web page that says Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan is toxic, as it has mercury in the Cinnabar.
A: Old formulas had cinnabar. It's pretty rare to find it in a product now. Not that I would use it myself or advocate using it but the mercury may be bound in it and may not be bioavailable.
It you look at this page you can see the ingredients. There's no Cinnabar:
