She got off the couch and walked over to the window. her eyes teared up slightly, and She turned to the group.." Look I don't have anywhere to go, and I am lost on this planet. Could I stay here for a while? I am so sorry to intrude. I promise I'll make it up to you. I am a genius and I can fix anything, build anything!!! I don't even need to live in the house. I can use my use my displacer and keep my room outside. I'll entertain.......I'll do whatever you want. Just consider it please?" She played with her hair a little. "Oh yeah, and there were these funny little squirrels outside. I think they were rabid or something. I just thought that you would all like to know..." At this, a hoarse yell resonated several yards away from the house. "YOU WOULDN'T THINK THEY WERE SO FUNNY AND LITTLE IF -YOU- WERE THE ONE THEY WERE ATTACKING!!! OWW!!!" Kirin fell out of the tree in which he was hiding from the squirrels and into the waiting jaws of thousands of the disgruntled rodents. "AHHHH!!! My bones! I can feel their teeth on my bones!!! AHHHHHhhhh!!" Jin blinked, "Rabid squirrels....?" He turned to the door and quickly walked over. He poked his head out. "Ouch.... That must sting...." Trevor winced at kirin's screams. "Somebody should help him..." She walked out onto the porch and hit the fire button on the chimera. A huge blast of blue energy went flying at a few of the squirrels. Trevor ran over to Kirin and kissed his forehead. She picked him up and brought him into the house, laying him down on the couch. "It's been a very hectic day everyone." trevor said, thoughtlessly. "Once things settle, I suggest we have a meeting or something. Anyone interested?" Daneux looked around, trying to take stock of his situation. He can't go back to sleep right now. He can't leave because there are killer squirrels outside. So, basically, he's stuck in a house full of people who may very well be more powerful than himself. As he watched the energy fire from Trevor's weapon, or what he thought to be a weapon, he could only think of one thing: use it as a battery. However, this may cause some problems with its owner. As he listened to Trevor's idea, he replied "What for? I don't see how it could help much." He then sniffs and says, "Did someone make tea?" The chimera seemingly dissapeared, as it slid back into Trevor's skin. She faced Daneux, "Well, my silver haired friend, since there are rabid squirrels outside, and a bunch of strangers inside, i think a small meeting might help!". She shrugged her shoulders and plopped down on the couch next to Kirin, rubbing his forehead. " And who made tea?" she asked sniffing the air. Enjoying the treatment, Kirin smiled and reluctantly sat up, looking around the room. "Hmm... what do we have here..." He stood and, nodding curtly to Trevor for the assistance, wandered off into the Masaki household. "Hey what's this!?" *CRASH* "Sorry! Wow what a nice house! But you really shouldn't leave these things out in the open! Could br-" *CRACK-BOOM* "-eak!" Several moments later finds him tightly bound, hanging from the ceiling over a table while a certain princess wedges The Club*TM securely between his bicuspids. The meeting commences. Trevor looked around at the people in the room. "Okay, there are rabid squirrels outside. I think we can take care of them if we attack them head on.......I mean, come on, they are like 12 inches high anyways. If we all go out there i'm sure we can take care of and find the source of this strange menace. Secondly, I need someone to come with me out into the forest to help me retrieve my things, just in case it gets rough." she smiles. As far as introductions go...i think that once we take care of this little threat, we'll have time for proper introductions." trevor once again looked around the room, slightly sweatdropping. "uh...any thoughts?" she smiled nervously... Daneux watches the man get strung up. "Uh...", he thought, blinking. He finally just shrugged and turned back to the group, listening to the conversation. "Why don't you just blast the whole horde of them and be done with it?", Daneux said in response to Trevor's question. "First of all", she said as she hit a small button on her arm, "The chimera, here, is out of juice, so I won't be shooting at anything." Trevor smiled and wandered over to the widow and peered outside. " Secondly, we don't know how many of the little monsters there are outside. For all we know there could be hundreds of little furry devils in the bushes." She adjusted the tie around her neck. He began to think. "Can anyone here fly, or have some sort of machine that would enable flight? That may help us, as far as getting the stuff. Flying over the little pests would probably be better than trying to run through them." He took a cup of tea from Aeka and continued. "As far as taking them head-on goes, it might work, but you have to consider something. A single squirrel bite may not be too horrible, but about six hundred may be fatal." He drinks some of his tea. Mayuka blinked. "But what about flying squirrels?" she asked, a bit confused. " I thought this forest was known if it's flying mammals." Mayuka looked at Ryoko, who was possibly a tad bit over the understatement of being drunk. "Ahahaha I only see pink elephants!" Cried Ryoko, passing out. "Do they really fly, or do they just jump and glide?", Daneux asked as he took another sip of his tea. Mayuka's lip twitched as she saw Ryoko pass out. Even Sake can take out the greatest of warriors. "Um..around these parts..well, both. The trees are high here, and some squirrels have lived in the older part of the woods.." Trevor walked over to Ryoko and helped her up into a chair. She sat down, sighed, and took a sip of her tea. "I think that the only squirrels we need to worry about are the that are outside. If there were any flying versions of these furry little devils, I think we would have seen them by now." She hit a button on her arm, and a smile spread across her face. "YES!, theres enough juice in the chimera to teleport me and whoever else is coming to my ship. We'll have to walk back here to the house though. I'm ready now so whoever wants to go better speak up now!" she stared around the room. Daneux thought. "Kinda risky, but eh, what the hell. I'll go with you." He swallowed the last of the tea, set the cup down, and stood up. "Cool. While we are gone I think that the rest of you should get outside and start blasting away at some of the squirrels. As soon as i get back, i'll try to whip up some kind of machine." she walked over to Daneux and put her hand on his shoulder. The chimera slid out of trevors arm and into view. " all right hang on. this is gonna feel strange." she hit a few buttons, " Chimera, transport back to the ship please." after a few clicks and bleeps and mechanical voice came " transporting" it said. A blue wave of static energy washed over Daneux and Trevor and they dissappeared. Jin blinked, then sweatdropped slighty and rubbed his forehead. "Sheesh.... And I thought I wasn't normal.... This whole place isn't normal...." Mayuka smiled. "Aww, Jin! EVERYBODY is normal some way or another!" Mayuka smiled, her pigtails bobbing to each head motion she made. Mayuka poked Ryoko hesitantly. "Ryoko..are you ok? I think you too many sips of sake over your limit.." A mumble of agreement came from within the bundle hanging from the ceiling, now swinging wildly back and forth in an effort to break the rope. "Sasami!" Aeka called as she stood up, adding in a devious tone "Get some more rope." Aeka looked disdainfully at the prone space pirate. "Oh, leave her Mayuka! It's just typical of her to get so drunk at a time like this...' She brushed past them and peered outside - before hurriedly slamming the door again. She paled slightly, thinking that instead of worrying about blasting those squirrels outside, they ought to think about stopping them from coming inside. Already she could hear sounds of scratching and chirruping on the walls outside. She backed away from the door, past the quivering figure of detective Mihoshi and yelled, "Azaka! Kamidake!" Trevor and Daneux appeared in the middle of the woods, next to the wreckage of a ship and the scattered belongings of Trevor. " I hope that wasn't to hard on you." She said thoughtfully." I'm not used to transporting more than one person at a time." Daneux rubbed his eyes. "I'm fine. That was easy, compared to...nevermind. What do we need out here?" Trevor looked at Daneux grimly, " Everything......", she walked over towards the ship and hit a button on the chimera, "Chimera, Compact mode Alpha" trevor said. The small ship began to fold in on itslef until it was the size of a small cube. She smiled and looked at Daneux. "Well thats one down. The rest of this stuff can fit into the displacer and will automatically beam to the house." She hit another button on her arm, " Chimera, open the displacement unit." a small black hole opened near daneux. "alright start stuffing things in there. Once we do that, we can head back." Daneux nodded to her, looked around, and began to concentrate. All of Trevor's objects on the forest floor slowly lifted into the air, and went into the hole, one by one. "Done. Now what?" Trevor giggled as she shut the small portal, " well, well Daneux. I guess you have some tricks of your own. Perfect.", she looked aorund. " well next we have to get back to the house." she hit a couple buttons," Chimera, standby cannon. Lets hope we make it." Trevor began to run through the woods towards the house . " C'mon!" she yelled. Daneux nods and begins to run right alongside her. Mayuka became impatient from waiting, being her nature to being bored easily. Mayuka's eye caught the bottle of sake that Ryoko had set on the table before going 'crazy'. Mayuka grabbed it, and wafted it carefully. It was so strong that Mayuka's eyes oogled and she felt like she had been whirling around in circles for hours. Jin blinked at Mayuka, then quickly walked over to her and waved a hand in front of her face. "Mayuka....? Are you alright....? I think you had too much...." Mayuka blinked, then looked at Jin with unfocused eyes. "Why Jin, you're TWINS!" Mayuka giggled, sounding more perky than usual. In fact, Mayuka felt like her body was water in a river, and said so too. Jin sweatdropped slightly. "Now I know you've had too much...." "AWWWWW!" Mayuka mumbled, swinging one arm around Jin's neck so she could see him more clearly-her nose not even two inches scant of his, ready to tell him something. "..." Mayuka paused, then made a goofy smile after forgetting what she was about to say. And to add to that, she giggled to make up for the lack of words. Aeka sighed and turned to them both. "When you've quite finished, can we please do something about these creatures outside?". Everyone was falling apart because of that Ryoko... As on quote, Ryoko awoke, lifting her golden eyes from her "slumber". She quickly glared at the Princess, who, as a rightful challenge, was staring right back. "What are you lookin' at?" She then asked rudely. Trevor rushed through the forest, wary of her sorroundings. She looked behind her to see Daneux following closely. "Good at least he can keep, up-...." he words were broken by the sound of violent rattling from the bushes all around her. The squirrels came out and looked ready to attack. "Chimera, cannon!". Trevor shot at the squirrels who were blocking her way. They were blown like leaves in the wind. She quickly pushed past them and ran into the dirt path. she knew where she was. she blew apart a few more squirrels, and ran out into the opening, where the trail ends. She could see the house from the hill, and hundreds of litle squirrels crawling around. "This doesn't look good!" she turned to see if Daneux had caught up. Daneux was not behind her. As a matter of fact, he took a different path and was now ahead of her, making a run for the house and slashing through squirrels with his WristSabres as he went. By the time he reached the door, there were a trail of dead squirrels in his path and a few of them hanging on to him by their teeth. He picked them off, threw them aside and went into the house, slamming the door behind him to prevent them from simply streaming inside. He stayed by the door, knowing that Trevor would be right behind him, and he should be ready to get her inside as quickly as possible. "Only a drunken criminal who chooses to corrupt everyone around her!" barked Aeka. "Look what you've done to Mayuka!" "I Well!-Mauyka?" Ryoko blinked, looking back at the drunken "daughter". "A-Ah Mauyka-Chan, don't do that without me!" She cried, grabbing her and pulling her back. "Come on now... i hear a cold ass bath calling you're name." She told her, floating to the bathroom and through the door, then turning on the water and dunking her in. "May not feel the best kid, but there's too much that could go wrong right now. Jin just stood where he was, looking down at the floor. He blushed deeply while he pulled on his shirt collar. Mayuka squirmed, trying to avoid the freezing cold water. After a few seconds, she managed to get out of Ryoko's grasp and run out of the bathroom, a white towel barely hanging onto her body. "That was mean Ryoko!" Mayuka yelled, latching herself behind Jin, trying to look small and inconspicuous. Daneux looked behind him. "You know, putting someone in cold water won't make them any less drunk. The most it can do is make them slightly more alert." The back door kicked open and Trveor ran inside. "I'm back!!" she called. She ran into the living rom. "well whats the situation?" Aeka poked Trevor lightly in the back. "Excuse me, but I think you brought one of those creatures in with you..." she said, pointing down at a rabid squirrel that had somehow attached itself to Trevor's ankle. Already the little critter was preparing to sink it's teeth into her foot, chirruping to itself malevolently. Outside meanwhile, the two Guardians of Jurai had approached the front door but there seemed little they could do about the swarming rodents that surrounded the house. Trevor let out a scream and blasted the huge hole in the floor as she shot the squirrel in it's little head. she breathed a sigh of relief and then reliazed what she had done. she sweatdropped."uh....., let's get this out of the way and then I'll fix the hole." Mayuka screamed, seeing the blood, and grabbed ahold of Jin tighter, trying to shield herself from the uh..mess. Mayuka peeked over Jin's shoulder, soon afterwards, eyes threatening to create a massive flood. Ryoko began to laugh, then blinked as she watched Mauyka eye the blood. "So uh... Its gunna be alright Mauyka-Chan..." She said nervously, with a sweatdrop. Daneux picks himself up off the floor, muttering some unflattering things. He slammed the door and locked it. Tenchi sweatdropped slightly. "Mayuka....maybe you should get dressed...." Jin sweatdropped too, turning his head to Mayuka slightly and blushing brightly. "Yeah...." Mayuka looked down and a rosy color blushed her face. "Um..I've got the towel-" Mayuka stopped, and it seems almost as if a lightbulb flashed on above her. "Oooh! Right!" Mayuka giggled, grabbed Ryoko's arm. "C'mon Ryoko! Lets fine me a pair of clothes to wear!" Mayuka said loudly as she half dragged poor Ryoko up the stairs with her. Ryoko only blinked, letting herself get dragged. "Can't you pick you're own damn clothes?" She asked stubbornly. Then again, Ryoko was always like this. Giving up, she let herself help Mauyka, for some reason, it was hard to say no to her at times. Daneux watched on. "I think we have something slightly more important to worry about, such as, oh, I don't know, not getting eaten alive by squirrels?!" Aeka wrinkled her nose at the smell of burnt, blackened squirrel. She sighed...it was yet another mess that had to be cleared. She looked nervously at Trevor, wondering what she was going to do next. Tenchi looked over to Daneux and nodded. "You're right...." Jin refixed his shirt and looked over to them. "If we only knew what was causing it...."
