The group was led to Miketown (pop. 11) where they were told about some strange goings on in the swamp. After a while of searching the group came across a metal artifact burried in a mound. Then the ground started shaking and a giant worm burst out at them nearly killing Synergy before it was killed.
A group went to check out the item. Upon touching it random mutates occured. The first one to touch it, just kept poking it untill he became horribly disfigured. Susibitly to heat AND cold, a backwards knee joint, acidic drool, eyestalks, heard instinct... Rouge touched it and became immune to fire decided it was good enough for her and left. Another adventurer touched it and had his sholder joint fused in place. Afterward she noticed that any flickering thing she would just stare at for some time till she could pull herself out of it.
The second adventure she went on involved a horribly trapped dungonlike cavern with a ghost at the center guarding the item they needed to retrive. In the course of the search they came across several dead bodies and found some items (yea) After a few hours of negotiation they got the item they were after and it fell to Rouge to carry it because it was freaking hot and Quawar had to carry 2 unconcious bodies.
Afterwards she put on the item that she was given and could understand perfectly what everyone was saying but no one would talk to her, she eventually figured out that it was translating her speech as if she were cursing all the time. She doesn't say a whole lot now.
