J-Dub (Jeromy W) and I met up for a day of great corn skiing on the Sulphide Glacier of Mt. Shuksan. Just as we were packing up at the trailhead, Ben Manfredi and the Hummels (Josh and Jason) pull up in Ben's pickup, headed for the same ski destination.

Ben and the Hummels start off hiking at their mad pace. Jeromy and I catch them later after they stop to enjoy the views of Baker Lake. Later, we all meet up at the summit, share a photo, and some beautiful October sun.

The ski down was excellent refrozen corn and sugar snow. The glacier had recieved just enough snow to give it a fresh coating but not so much as to be breakable.
