| A Knight's Tale "Two Knights. Two Horses. Two pieces of sharp lumber. But, only one chick. Do the math. " If you have not managed to catch this on big screen, for gods sake go and see it now! A Knight's Tale is a blend between modern day, and the olden days, where its cool to compete amongst the knights and sirs, your steed galloping at full pace, head on with a lancer in hand aiming at the breast of your fellow sir knight. This story is about a poor commoner, who is on a quest to "find his stars". Its a compelling story, of a man who beings as nothing, with two friends. He goes through barrells hardships, trials and tests. But his faithfulness to his father points him in the direction of the knights. It is a story of lengths of determination and will power, and above all, a story of pride. Yes, there is a love story, and yes, it is actually more comical that i'd pictured. i went into the theatre expecting nothing, and emerged astounded. It is not a rip off of gladiator (and you can take my word for it, because i love gladiator). It has its own mood, its own taste of glory. Its own allure. You'd think that the whole 2 hours would be filled with just two knights bashing into each other with long sticks and a horse...but every clashing of knights its different, and at every collision, it builds up a new battle. Tons of people have it on vcd. See it on big screen - it's well worth it... definately on my favourites list!!
