Sire: In Verden, Germany, ARKANSAS produced 6 select auction horses, including ACCAMBARO,
National Riding Horse Champion. His first 3 years in Canada, he produced two 1st place winners in
Spruce Meadows' Hanoverian Foal Inspections. He sired the 1991 CWHBA Alberta Foal Futurity
S. Division Champion. At the 1993 Foal Futurity ARKANSAS get placed Champion Foal and
Grand Champion Mare. In Germany, his grandson, ESCUDO I was 1994 Champion 3 year old
stallion at the German 100 day test and ESCUDO II was 1994 Champion 2 year old (out of 600
entrants). In his earlier years, ARKANSAS toured Europe and America with the German State Stud
Quadrille, demonstrating the Hanoverian Breed. His bloodlines trace back to the legendary
ABGLANZ, the founder of the 'A' line, & to ABSATZ, sire of successful International Grand Prix
horses in both dressage (ACAPULCO - Austrian team member; AVIGION - Grand Prix Special
International Level Holland '84) and jumpers (ALWINS ACE- Grand Prix winning jumper with M.
Matz (USA)). On the bottom side, his grandsire NOVUM stood at Celle from 1967 - 1981.
Dam: GRINALTA'S KNIGHT is inbred 3x to ROYAL CHARGER, foundation sire of many Irish and
British sport horse lines. She is descended from UMIDWAR who has sired numerous top level
jumpers and eventers around the world, including EL FUTURO, one of Ian Miller's jumpers. Her
pedigree also traces back to ORTE, grandsire of ANGELO who is the sire of Reiner Klimke's
ALHERIC, Nicole Uphol's REMBRANDT and Hugh Graham's MONEY TALKS. Soundness is
inherent in this pedigree and GRINALTA'S KNIGHT herself competed in 3-day event and dressage
before becoming a broodmare, and she placed 2nd in her division in the 1993 CWHBA Mare Show.
Her first offspring was trained for jumper and 3-day event. Her second foal, CASCADE is on the
show jumping circuit in California.
Notes: GENTRY should mature to well over 16hh. She has been handled since birth and is familiar with all
routine procedures. She shows exceptional willingness and trainability during schooling sessions. She
has beautiful technique and scope over fences. GENTRY will make an excellent hunter or jumper
prospect for anyone seeking an uncomplicated and talented prospect.
