... Well, I didn't have to bring the rent-a-car back until 9:00 pm so Thea & I drove out to Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge.

€ We saw 10-15 Ravens and 6-8 Red-Tailed Hawks on the way up US 93 its an hour north of Las Vegas.

€ We only went to the lower lake (about 2 miles long and Ľ mile across) beside the two lane highway and waterfowl hunting is allowed every other day in season.

€ Only about 3000 (three thousand) Coot out there.

€ The ranger station has an orchard near it.
That's where we saw:

1000 Common Merganser
50 Canada Geese
4 Prairie Falcons
1 Northern Harrier (catching a snake)
Rock Wrens
a Yellow Warbler
20 Robins
more Ravens
sparrows
and one coyote
