...Today Thea & I observed birds at:
Red Springs
on Calico Basin Road
noon 'til 2pm ~ 60� ~ partly
cloudy ~ winds: calm
No new birds today...
- 1 loggerhead shrike
- 1 phainapepla (male)
- 4 western bluebirds (first time we saw these out
here)
- 5 house finches (red)
- 1 kinglet
- 1 rock wren
- 1 house wren
- 1 thrasher (sage?)
- 30 white-crown sparrows
- 5 chipping sparrows
On the way out we saw from the car:
- 50 pigeons
- 30 starlings
- 1 road runner
